Doctor Mother Father is a solo endeavour, turned into an actual band. While Corey Bonnevie released his debut album ‘Catholic’ in July 2020 he soon got help down the road.

In 2022 the three-piece band cut everything live to a vintage twenty-four track tape machine at Monopolized. With overdubs recorded digitally, the band got the best of both worlds. Where the first release was recorded in a vacuum, the new record has the sound of people playing together in a room. Bonnevie’s writing began leaning more towards his power pop influences. Mix that with the jolt of live takes, and you get something between power pop and garage rock.
